COVID-19
March 23, 2020
To our valued customers:
We wanted to update our customers on COVID-19 developments.
You may have read or heard the announcement that Connecticut has ordered all businesses that are not essential to close immediately. American Polyfilm qualifies as an essential business and is not affected by the order from the Governor. We remain fully operational and intend to remain open as long as it is safe to do so.
Our goal is to continue to deliver our products as you have come to expect from American Polyfilm, Inc. We are taking this crisis very seriously and wanted to let you know what measures we are taking to keep our employees, suppliers, and customers safe at all of our locations:
Limiting visitor access at our locations. All non-essential in-person meetings have been postponed or changed to conference calls
Requiring employees to maintain a six-foot social distance in offices and on the production floor
Sanitizing all common areas and shared equipment/tools
Employees are working remotely when possible during this time period
Employees are required to stay home if they exhibit symptoms of COVID-19 and cannot return to work until being cleared to do so by a doctor.
Employees are required to self-quarantine for 14 days if they have been in contact with an affected individual.
We are in constant communication with our key supply partners and their management teams to remain up-to-date on their ability to continue to supply materials. We do not have any indication that there will be any supply interruptions.
Please be safe, and stay healthy. We are working hard to maintain supply continuity for you. Thank you.
